Douglas Romero’s journey from the tranquil River Thames to the vastness of the world’s oceans encapsulates over two decades of distinguished maritime leadership. A graduate of the United Kingdom Sailing Academy, he has captained yachts across 150,000+ nautical miles, including two Atlantic crossings and a full circumnavigation. His qualifications include an RYA/MCA Offshore Yachtmaster with a 500gt commercial endorsement, among others. Notably, his competitive spirit shone through in the Panerai Yacht Classics, securing multiple top finishes. Co-founder of Thumbs Up Yacht Delivery, Douglas has also contributed significantly to yacht delivery worldwide. Douglas’s legacy is a testament to a life of adventure and leadership on the high seas.

Joseph Price, with a 40-year tenure in the Nuclear Power Field, specializes in leadership coaching and organizational effectiveness for the technical service and construction industries at Tack Detroit. His expertise spans project management, engineering, and nuclear facility operations, with a strong focus on performance improvement. Joseph has led initiatives based on Deming’s Quality Improvement Techniques and standards from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations. He has conducted performance assessments for leadership teams, managed critical projects in regulated environments, and held senior roles in nuclear power operations. A US Navy veteran, Joseph also brings experience from submarine service and has facilitated workshops on team dynamics and technical topics, emphasizing his comprehensive approach to enhancing leadership and team effectiveness.
